IMHO, anyone who invokes that passage as indicative of another person or group must needs examine their works quite closely. For to falsely accuse someone of twisting the words of scripture is to do that which one hath just condemned. The Torah is the Name Of God, and to take the words of the Torah and abuse them; use them to bear false witness, condemn, and justify one's dubious actions -- that is to take The Name in vain.
